A Schubertiade was an informal event held at private homes, where friends and music lovers would share musc. It takes the name from Schubert as many of his works would be played there, and as he would himself play the piano too. Following this idea, the team of ISON together with María Valverde colaborate in the organization of this event. There will be a concert program, followed by an Jam Session where the musicians are invited to play together in a more casual informal way.
The concert program will contain only chamber music; by composers as Schubert, Schumann, Mozart, Kapustin or contemporary ones, as Csenge Mihalicza. Some of the guests musicians are Kinga Várallyay, Dominika Ács, Veronika T-Potzner, Viola Thurnay, Marina Rivero, Ignacio Tólcheff, Amy Van Walsum, Nigel Smith, Irene Palencia, Ignasi Lucca, Javier De Diego, Giorgia Fabro, Róza Radnóti, and many others.
María Valverde wished to organise this Schubertiade with her friends as a farewell event, as she will leave Budapest after 4 years in the city. In her words, this will be a beautiful celebration of music and friendship.
