His partner, Carolina López Moreno, who exploded onto the international scene as Liù from Turandot, “portrays Puccini’s emotional depths and human tragedy with remarkable intensity and authenticity.” Essential Puccini, therefore: The two artists will perform excerpts from La rondine and Madama Butterfly, as well as parts of the equally unmissable Il trovatore and La traviata by Verdi.
