Mr. R. is a technical draftsman in an architectural office. His life is organized and consolidated in every way. He seems to be happy and content. However, one day he starts running amok... "Mr. R. has a wife and children, his family has an apartment and a car. Mr. R. does his job to the best of his ability and does everything he can for his family. Mr. R. likes to be nostalgic with his old friends, he likes to listen to romantic songs with his wife, and he likes to help his son with his studies. Mr. R. can be really satisfied with his life. The performance looks for the answer to the "why" in the title, revealing the responsibility of the narrower and wider environment: what is happening in the world, and what are the barriers to human prosperity in us and around us. The performance does not have a built-in set, it can be easily traveled and performed in any space, the spectacle is defined by Zita Schnabel's inventive, highly imaginative costumes.
