Bach’s two monumental sacred works, the two passions are among the most significant creations in the whole of musical history. For believers, an evocation of the passion of Christ is a sacred experience, while non-believers can still wonder at the complexity of genre, richness of character and dramatic force of the works. Of the two passions, we can hear the earlier-composed piece that Bach based on the Gospel of John and which was first performed in Leipzig on 7 April 1724, Good Friday.

Time and again, Budapest Bár delights the Müpa Budapest audience with their special performances and outstanding collaborators. On this occasion, the ensemble has been invited by Nők Lapja magazine to take the stage in the company of some very special guests. Róbert Farkas, the band’s leader and founder, originally aimed to breathe new life into the genre of Gypsy café music, thereby preserving and revitalizing old traditions.

Ez azonban mindenkit meglepetésként ér, főként a két kislányt, akik a Bühl-tavi üdülőn találkoznak -minden jel szerint- hosszú évek után, először. Luise és Lotte szülei elváltak és osztozkodtak gyermekeiken. A két kislány nyomozásba lendül, hogy kiderítsék feltűnő hasonlóságuk titkát, majd ahogyan mindenre fény derül, elhatározzák, hogy kibékítik szüleiket. A két kislány elragadó története a szeretetről és ragaszkodásról, ezúttal a színpadon varázsolja el nézőit.
Claude Magnier legendás bohózatában Louis de Funès 13 év alatt több mint hatszázszor játszotta Barnier szerepét – amit filmen később Sylvester Stallone tett ismertté az egész világon.
