THE GENIUSES OF ROMANTICISM– Berlioz / Liszt - János Balázs, Charles Dutoit and the MAV Symphony Orchestra SZ/4

Around 1830, Hector Berlioz and Franz Liszt became friends. Berlioz rapturously praised Liszt's piano playing, and Liszt was enthralled by Berlioz's 1830 Fantastical Symphony.

Together they conceived the idea of the symphonic poem, and at the same time, in 1830, Liszt began composing his first piano concerto. He was still constantly learning while he was composing the piece, which was premiered in Weimar in 1855. He continued working on it afterwards, further refining it. Berlioz's Fantastical Symphony was premiered in 1830, yet it still has a modern feel, with its prevalent and multifaceted eccentricity. The Overture to the Roman Carnival was premiered in 1844, and is a beautiful example of the painting an artwork with musical tones. fixa idea révén. A történet Fazekas Mihály művén alapul, a mese régi, de a megközelítés módja merőben új, ugyanis Schwajda György a libák szemszögéből írta meg a cselekményt.

A többszörösen Oscar-díjas filmdráma alaptörténetének monumentális színpadi feldolgozása Fila Balázs és Mucsi Zoltán főszereplésével.

The idea for The Nutcracker ballet came from theone-time director of the Tsarist theatre who, based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s fairy tale entitled the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, wanted to stage a fairy tale ballet that would surpass all that had gone before, both in sound and in spectacle. Tchaikovsky was asked to compose the music and after Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty his third and final ballet was also a great success. It was the six-movement suite of the music of The Nutcracker that was first performed in March 1892, and in December of the same year the spectacularly presented theatrical work was also performed. The Nutcracker has become the most frequently played ballet piece of all time.
